Having completed a website for Wineberg the Tailors we were asked to do a site for another of the companies’ businesses Stamford Clothiers who specialise in plus two’s, plus four’s and breeks for shooting and golfing communities.

The site offers made to measure and ready to wear clothing in a variety of different cloths and also ready to wear stockings.

Built on the popular eCommerce platform TradingEye the site has been given a custom layout and various customised areas and modifications from TradingEye including modified search functionality.


Analytics tracking and JavaScript

The site has added JavaScript functionality such as accordions and mouse over menus and the Google Analytics setup includes conversion, eCommerce and search tracking.

Email marketing

Following the site launch an email marketing newsletter and offline advertising has seen the site get off the ground with a flurry of orders.





Dreamcatcher Bridal

Already an existing Armitage Online client Dreamcatcher were seeking a redesign for their website. They had strong ideas as to what they wanted with a big focus on a large splash screen type image.

The main aim of the site was to easily showcase the dresses and ranges on offer at Dreamcatcher.

The site was mocked up in Fireworks and then put together using CSS and XHTML. It features JavaScript lightboxes and carousel scripts to allow better utilisation of space a simpiler layout.

Fellinis Ambleside

Fellinis Ambleside

Fellinis Ambleside is a vegeteranean restaurant and independent cinema based in Ambleside in the Lake District. The owners run Zeffirellis cinema and restaurant who’s site Armitage Online had built.

We were asked to put together a site with a look and feel more appropriate to the new Fellinis restaurant whilst also offering integration with the Zeffirellis website to enable management of cinema listings across the two websites easily.

Zeffirellis had been built on ExpressionEngine and Fellinis was integrated using the multi site manager system.

The website design drew inspiration from the already existing menu and logo and the newly decorated Fellinis restaurant, giving a more mature classical style that was a better fit for Fellinis.

The site also has an introductory flash animation showcasing various images from the restaurant and cinema.
