This is a bit old - you may or may not notice the date on this post but it's over a year old. That doesn't mean it's not useful but we all know how fast things chance on the web so there's a chance that techniques and technologies described here could be a little dated.

20, 12, 17, 15, 6, 13, 5, 8, 10 and 1

First thing first describe yourself in a tweet – 140 characters – Go!

A geeky gal with a passion for the web, design and Apple, with a good sense of humour, love for the cinema and addiction to Twitter!

On with the answering!

1. (Question 20) – What’s your drink of choice?

Alcoholic  – West Coast Cooler, I don’t drink very often, however when I do, I like something sharp and refreshing and a West Coast Cooler is both light and tastes yummy.

Non-Alcoholic – Cranberry Juice, this is something that can always be found in my fridge! I usually have a shot of this in the morning, it gives me a kick start to the day.

2. (Question 12) – What couldn’t you live without?

My initial reaction was my iMac, but then I really thought about the question and the answer has to be Music.

I’m a music junkie, I still remember buying my first tape (Coolio – Gangsta’s Paradise), when I was a kid. I always have either my iPod or Shuffle with me anywhere I go and when I work iTunes is usually blasting out a little MGMT or Empire of the Sun (among others). Heck my iTunes library is over 130GB!

Music has the power to completely transform your mood, from something mellow like Imogen Heap or Passion Pit when it’s time to focus to The Flaming Lips to get you in a creative mood.

I’m currently compiling a huge 80’s and Retro playlist (with the help of some friends and those on Twitter) and it’s just amazing how a song can be so nostalgic and bring back such vivid memories!

3. (Question 17) -Can you play any musical instruments? If you can’t, what would you like to play?

I’m hopeless musically and I can’t read music, which doesn’t help! I did start to learn to play the drums a years ago (my uncle taught me) but it didn’t stick. I would love to play the saxophone because of it’s soulful, relaxing tone and well…it just looks cool!

4. (Question 15) – If you could be any fictional character who would it be?

What a tough question! I’ve had a love (ok…a slight obsession) with The Phantom of the Opera since I was a kid. I’ve seen the show in the West End twice and it was an electric, unforgettable experience each time. So If I had to choose just one character it would be him, for the mystery, excitement and taste of the theatrical.

The big kid in me would also say Aslan from The Chronicles of Narnia!

5. (Question 6) – What’s your favourite TV series?

This is tough because there are several shows I’m addicted to; Fringe, The Big Bang Theory, Parks and Recreation and Curb Your Enthusiasm, to name just a few.

Although, If I had to choose one it would be 30 Rock. I’ve been a huge fan of Tina Fey’s since Saturday Night Live. The writing is sharp, the acting fantastic and the comedy second to none. I have every episode on my iPod and iMac!

For my favorite show that’s now off-air I couldn’t choose between Arrested Development and Boston Legal.

6. (Question 13) – What are the best presents you’ve given and received?

I’m someone who likes to give little presents on a regular basis, small things that make a person feel special. I was always taught that ‘it’s the thought that counts’, and I do believe this to be true.

I would rather give someone little gifts throughout the year than just one present on their birthday, anyone can do that. However small touches like taking my family to dinner or buying my mum a bouquet of flowers are for me much more enjoyable and heart felt.

For instance I recently bought my Mum and brother an iPod each. Although these didn’t break the bank, they get enjoyment out of using them and that’s what counts.

The best present I’ve received would be a watch my mum bought for me as a graduation present, which I wore at my Graduation ceremony. My father passed away suddenly just a few months before I graduated, so it was an occasion with mixed emotions. My father was a watchmaker when he was younger (and had a lifelong passion for it) and my mum felt it was a fitting present. We both chose the watch together, which I wore with tremendous pride that day.

7. (Question 5) – Are you a sports fan and who do you follow/support?

Anyone who follows me on Twitter will know I’m a lifelong Liverpool FC supporter. There are a lot LFC supporters on Twitter and when it comes to match days we always get together to discuss the match, it’s great to have a little LFC community on there!

I am generally a sports fan, I’ve played tennis for most of my life (winning a few local trophies along the way), but also love Hockey and Basketball.

8. (Question 8 ) – What’s the best holiday you’ve ever been on?

Anytime I go on holiday with my family is always fun. We go on holiday each year to a different place in the south of Ireland and it’s always great craic!

In terms of a foreign holiday, It would be my two weeks in Belgium and Holland a few years ago. I went with a group of friends and had a fantastic time.

9. (Question 10 ) – If you had an elephant where would you hide it?

In my living room, then when I had friends or family over, we could discuss the ‘elephant in the room’.

10. (Question 1 ) – What’s your favourite film?

I don’t think I could choose just one, that’s too difficult! Some of my favorite films include 7 Pounds, Leon, Heathers, The Pianist, The Big Lebowski and Little Miss Sunshine.

I tend to veer towards the dark comedies and Indie films, although I’m just as big a sucker for the big budget action films like Star Wars, 2012 and Transformers.

And the all important final question – what question do you want to add to the question bank?

If you had to ‘become’ any application for the day on your Mac or PC, which would you be and why? And what would you spend the day doing?

A big thanks to Grace for answering the questions, I certainly enjoyed reading the answers! You can check out her blog at http://www.gracesmith.co.uk/, her company at http://www.postscript5.co.uk/ and she is a regular twitter as @gracesmith
